Graduated from Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca with a Bachelors in Business Administration (Oaxaca, Mexico). Cristal works for the Secretariat of Public Education in Oaxaca where she supports access to education among Oaxacan students. Cristal loves traveling overseas and meeting people from all over the world. Alma Cristal has experience being an Spanish tutor to Canadians living in the city of Oaxaca. She greatly enjoys sharing about her culture and language.

Cristal is a dog person and strongly believes that “the best therapist has fur and four legs.”
