Starting Spanish Lessons
How long are the lessons?
Each adult lesson lasts 50 min. These are optimal lengths as it allows for a lot to be talked about while students maintain their concentration and interest levels.
Why are lessons taught via Zoom?
Zoom is an accessible and free tool ideal for language learning. Zoom allows the student and teacher to do everything they would do in a classroom: read, write, speak, listen and share materials.
Do I need to buy a book for my lessons?
No. Your teacher will share all the materials with you online.
How will the teacher evaluate my current Spanish level?
Your first teacher will assess your language level and discuss your specific learning goals during the trial session. Teachers will then customise the lessons based on these first 20 minutes and your preferences.
How do I pay?
Once you decide you want to join Hola Everyone you can choose your preferred package and pay through our secure payment gateway.
Does the teacher have planned exercises for the lessons or it is just a conversation?
All lessons are prepared to help you improve your Spanish quickly. You will talk a lot in your lessons, and at the same time you will be able to learn new vocabulary, phrases and grammar, you will have homework (optional) that will improve your writing skills. So we make sure you are practicing all the language skills while improving your Spanish-speaking ability. You are getting a Spanish tutor not a conversation partner.
Booking, Payment & Policies
How do I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
You can make changes to your classes up to 24 hours before the start of the class. If you cancel your class less than 24 hours before the class, or if you do not attend the class without giving us prior notice, unfortunately, you will lose that class.
What happens if I cannot attend my class due to a technical fault?
If you cannot attend a class due to technical problems at your end, unfortunately, you will lose the class. If your teacher cannot attend the class due to a technical problem at their end, the class will be refunded and you will be able to reschedule for another time that suits you.
Do I need to do anything after I book a lesson?
You will be able to add your lesson(s) to your personal calendar, we suggest doing so via the link in your confirmation email. If you haven’t taken a lesson with the tutor before, please make sure that you accept their provided Zoom ID.
What is the Hola Everyone refund policy?
We have a very transparent refund policy.
If you decide to stop your Spanish conversation lessons within 30 days of purchase and will not attend the rest of the purchased lessons, you are entitled for a refund for the classes you have not completed. Hola Everyone will charge a flat fee of $20USD per each conversation lesson completed. The remainder fee will be refunded within 3 business days.
What happens if the teacher cancels a session?
You will not be charged if Hola Everyone cancels a class. The teacher will contact you to set up a makeup session at a time that suits you.
If I take a break from practicing Spanish, can I use my remaining classes later?
Yes, in most cases you can. You may have up to six months to use your classes from the date of purchase.

Do I get the same teacher in all my classes?
Yes, you can get the same teacher. However, Hola Everyone offers you the flexibility to change teachers if you want to. If you choose our unlimited packages you can have lessons with up to 3 different.
